Bullying is a serious thing in this world, no matter how much one may think so. It has the potential to wound people beyond what they let on, and sometimes even cause emotional - and on occasion physical - turmoil years after it has ended. This picture is attempting to depict the seriousness of it and show that just because someone may appear as if they have overcome bullying of some sort, that there may always be hidden wounds beneath the surface that are just hidden extremely well - hence the red lines.

Inspired by an assignment in one of my high-school classes on things we believe and why we believe what we do. This was my original version, but I decided to submit a different version for the actual assignment. I'm not one of those people that tries to force my own person views and beliefs on others, this is just simply what I have come to believe in my time on this planet so far.
